When I get home from work one of my routines is to check the answering machine to see if anyone had called. Indeed someone had called me. I listened to the message and it was a recording from the County Correctional Facility asking if I would accept a collect call from a prisoner. I don't know anyone in jail so I could not figure out who would have tried to call me. Then I thought maybe my friend Caines had been picked up by the cops and was using his one call to talk to me. As far as I know Caines has never been in trouble with the law but there is always a first time for everything. I called his house and he answered. I told him I was checking to make sure he was not in jail. He wasn't. He said sometimes people in jail will call random people to see if they will answer. Maybe that was what happened or maybe they dialed the wrong numebr in any case to the guy in the County Correctional Facility, sorry I missed your call.

I live in Orlando and according to Men's Health magazine I live in the countries angriest city. According to the article this was based partly on the percentage of men with high blood pressure, FBI rates for aggravated assault and workplace deaths from assaults or violence. Angry Tiki is also from Orlando. He is the angriest person I know. Angry Tiki and I are always opening cans of whoop ass on each other. This weekend I drank all of his bourbon. Needless to say he was very angry.
What was the worst advice you ever received? Did you follow it?
Caines making me do tequila shots at Adobe Gilla's.
Yes. And paid dearly.
When I think zombie two things come to mind.
1. A delicious tropical drink.
2. Fictional creatures found in video games and movies.
Caines and Eileen gave me this book for my birthday. I am halfway through it and already I feel like a veil has been lifted from over my eyes. For instance, did you know that many zombie movies are based on actual events and that diseases like West Nile Virus and Mad Cow Disease are often used as cover ups for zombie outbreaks? The book even provides an Outbreak Journal section to document any zombie encounters. Now that I know what to look for I will blog any cases of zombie outbreaks that I come across. Feel free to add your reports of zombie outbreaks- the world needs to know.
